Awwww, You got the smell of my WERKS fuel and want to run it now. Good deal. Let me know if you want to go in together and we can get some. I have tried to get that fuel local and no deal. I am running out. I might buy some from my buddy since he isnt racing this year.

i see on amain in the parts section that they have a composite carb on preorder (new model) is this supposed to be better then the aluminum 2010 model?

I know it's not compatible, i am just curious.

thats the "old" style of carb as its intended for the B3/B7 which are not even made anymore...

It's a glitch, they put in their first order for them after we discontinued the part internally. So it's going to be showing on pre-order for a long, long time because it's no longer being made  I'll shoot them a mail and ask them to cancel the sku.

ron, long story short. the original P/S/R set i had on my b5 got scratched and gouged. Ordered a new one from neil, and was having tuning problems because i did not have it shimed corectly. got with him and we worked it out. switched to a hotter plug and it absolutley rips! leaves my ninja in the dust! couldn't be happier. Love this motor.

Highly recommended!!

I also sent you a PM:)

Hey guys,

Been running my B5 and 2013 pipe combo with great success this season!! In my last event I got caught up on a pipe and dented in the stinger. I also had other mechanical issues which forced me to DNF in the main. I haven't had a chance to run my truggy since then and was wondering if I'm going to notice any tuning/performance issues due to the dent in the pipe.

BTW... the accident also saw the demise of the manifold springs and seals. I ordered up some RB and Racer's Edge in the long and short and realized it won't work due to the Werks being shorter. The Racer's seals worked just fine but I guess the springs are not universal.

Thanks.

you can still use the long springs. Just go around the case instead of putting them in the eye-lets on the side. O.S. motors have the same thing, just never really noticed until i got a werks.

The longer spring that holds the manifold to the engine vs. the shorter spring that holds the pipe to the manifold is slightly different in size. Werks long/short springs are both slightly shorter by 2mm or less (or 2 or 3 coil difference). Unfortunately this has a big impact to how tight the manifold is held to the engine/pipe. I was thinking of using a fine fishing line but was worried that it might not provide enough give.
