When I have a sleeve that's stuck I shoot some wd40 In there and it slides right out. Shoot some up through the backplate to get it around the outside of the sleeve. It should loosen it right up.

I had an engine where the sleeve was really tight. Zip tie didn't work but my manual actually recommended nudging it out from the inside with the back end of a pen. I used a bic. They are soft nylon and won't scratch anything.

One that will work on those tough to get out sleeves?

I've seen the JP Tools one. Does anyone have any experience with that one? Does it work well?

Are there any others?

TIA
JP works great for me but some sleeves require a little more effort .Heat gun wil do the trick .Good luck

I use a toothbrush or piece of wood. For the really stubborn ones I will use a heat gun.

If you have a silicon filled crank, you don't want wd-40 sprayed in it.

Grabs from the exhaust port. Never had an issue yet. If it's stubborn, mount it in a vise and just tap on the blue handle part with threads

Just wondering how this tool works? I guess the pic is showing it from the top and you tighten the thin blue knob? Does it have a hook that is not shown to catch the top of a port or what?
