Being that M2C stopped making that flywheel 3 years ago I'd say it's time to replace that whole clutch system. Might I suggest this one: http://www.m2cracing.com/product.sc?...&categoryId=46

looks like the old carb did not help at all. engine was behaving strangely on saturday.

after few minutes it was again stalling on a long straights (temp was 123C after 10minutes) did richen HSN. Temp went to 105C but no real change in behavior.

I dont understand why in one lap the engine is ballistic with no issues and in the next one it just does not work properly.

That's my understanding and I'm fairly sure it's correct on this

wallot sounds like your idle and low speed are not set right..

and yes only dif from stock and rp is that the rp comes broken in. even thought stock dosnt come broken in it dosnt leave edds shop till he inspects it and shims the head properly.

I am not Jbright but I am temping at 190 to 200 on my Full Mod. It gets 10 mins easy in my T 2.0. I pitted at 9:30 yesterday and made the next 10:30 easily. I did a dry run test and it made 12 mins to completely dry. I put a new plug in before the main and then checked it after, it looked almost new, just a light gold tinge on the face of the plug. The tune is very close, where before it was too fat on bottom. The plug face was brownish black and the coil was becoming pull distorted. I could not ask for more out of this engine.

086 works great and is cheap. The 9901 will give better millage, but is more expensive.

what can be wrong with the tune? on my previous engine (the one with snapped conrod thanks to something stopping flywheel at max revs) the carb worked great No issues at all.
also the engine worked great during testing and then during a race it just started to do the same things as with the carb it came with. the LSN should be about right as the acceleration is great. Idle is open about 1/8 turn from stock maybe 1/4 at most.

engine is about 220F after 7 minute run at the track.
