I know what POS stands for..Thats a direct violation of team rules and I cant have it..we are trying to do good things for the RC community and having team members say things that degrade any person or product is something I will not be associated with..My apologies to all of you on this thread that our team dirty laundry was aired in public. I did this on purpose so you understand that we do not accept this kind of behavior from our team members.

I saw a few of these Engines at the Silver State Race and I think it was the guys with the screw drivers. Most of the ones that I saw RIPPED!!!!!!
But I did see a few that just didnt seem right thats why I say its the guy with the Screw Driver. My 2cents.

i dont think the 086 is ideal, i think thats why the low end is finicky and the motor seems to idle high, if you lower the idle just a tick it then drops down so low that it dies in about 5-6 seconds.

Vareck the one i worked on felt great but i think it has the wrong pipe set..

what glowplug, fuel % and fuel brand ? and what head shims in engine ?

the idle comes set out of the box, and should need no more then 1/8 of a turn in either direction for the perfect tune. try leaning the bottom next time..
086 pipe runs great!
Max, the deck come set and is not to be adjusted.

od 97t plugs
byron 30% race
in a losi 2.0t.
if we start leaning the low end more he gets running on in air.. and the motor dose not like to return to idle once you let off..

readin whats he's saying it doesn't sound like any major issue at all...most likely something very simple being overlooked....I hate seeing such a good engine being bad talked over something that is likely nothing more then something really simple being overlooked....
Sorry to butt in, i just hate seeing those kinds of posts ! These engines rely on soo many little factors to operate correctly, and it seems guys are way to fast to judge a complete line of an engine from what is most likely user error.... And if the issue isn't user error these engines are soo simple that finding the issue should not be anything too difficult...

97T is my guess...it doesn't do well at all in my modified engines either , same issues you are describing almost to a T...switch to a OS P4 or P5 and the issue should vanish ( thats my guess anyways)
