Both Using: Dynamite 086 Pipe EBMods 30% OS P5 Plug Best Averaged Runs on the Same Day Testing http://ebmods.com/JS%2023%20vs%20JS%2021.JPG Please keep one thing in mind, I go to the extreme to keep my Dyno calibrated to the Data Analyzer used to collect the Dyno Data ( www.performancetrends.com ), this is way more accurate then the "eyeball" calibration method used by some. I have personally spoke to a few Dyno owners who use that method, and it's a little disappointing to hear :( ,,,, But when doing comparison runs on the Same Dyno it really doesn't matter what the numbers read, but more so the difference in the "before" and "after" graphs. Considering the same testing protocol and testing equipment was used the difference in percentages will remain the same. |

Um, directly after this post someone de-rated my thread by giving it a low 1 rating,, um I wonder who that was, actually I did see who was in here reading right before it happen. So I have a GOOD idea...

Um I noticed that the Poll questions always let you see who voted for what. Why isn't the Star Rating the same?
It would be nice to see who is rating who. It would even help show a persons true character if that person repsented another company who voted on a thread for the soul purpose to hurt that rating.. :( |

That list is very short, but maybe we can get RCT to change the rating system so we can all see who does what.

Tyler's Race Prepped JS .23 has powered him to back to back wins at our new club track since we put it in. Leaned it a little last weekend and is really coming to life. Still lot of leaning to be done for max power but it is pretty awesome the way it is now. He ran 20 minute main and come in and I can still wrap my hand around the head and hold it there. Have not temped it yet but, it is cold to me.:p

well ended up pulling off a 10th place A main finish tonight at the christmas classic at bumps and jumps. i was up againt factory sponsored drivers and everyone had clay tires except me lol. would of probubly had a better finish but ended up having a screw come out of my steering so had to pull off to fix it. But my js rocked all day today and yesterday didnt have to change the tune much it held steady and made unbelievable power. and was also getting over 10 mins of run time ( this is a short track but alot of throttle was used).

J.S. >23
I went up to Raceworld Raceway yesterday and had a pretty good day. I even managed to win the 3rd qual edging out Sonny O by 1 sec. I ended up qualifing 4th in the A and finished 7th. I was in 2nd 9 mins in and my lipo started dumping. I guess that is racing and I am still very happy with how reliable my engine package is. I ran the .23 with a p4, 7m restricter and an re-11 pipe and was able to go 10 min easy. I also ran the tornado clutch shoes with 1.0 springs and am very happy with how both the twister and tornado shoes perform. I would like to just say thanks to Ed and Joe for hooking me up.
Thanks J-DUB |
good job JB! where u runnin a 21 or 23? who won?[/QUOTE]
21 joe. jamie took it with shreff runner up. Brian Miskolczi took 4th I believe |
2010 Points Season
1 Attachment(s)
Just had the final meeting in the 2010 Hamilton RC club Champs (New Zealand). I managed a 2nd place overall in Truggy through the whole year which I was very happy with. Out of 11 rounds I only had one DNF which was the last meeting. Steering servo went after 15 minutes into the 30 minute final:flaming: My JS was great all season, no flame outs and plenty of power. Looking forward to next year for bigger and better things. I'm sure the JS will help me with that.

What's next for JS
Hi guy's, I see that GO engines are releasing a new range of .21 engines early next year and I was wondering if JS have any similar plans? I'm sure developing new ideas etc goes without saying anyway so they must have plans for future engines.

theres no plans that i know of for any kind of new motor from js

The JS Racing line is constantly evolving. There is always a chance you'll see another engine or 2 throughout the new year. :sneaky: |

JS has NO affiliation with GO other than some of the parts are sourced from the same factories.

That's cool, by the way I wasn't trying to make out that there was any affiliation. I was just using it as an example:)

Happy Hoidays!

We are still running and love our JS engine. My son bumped from the B main and finished 2nd in the A-Main Open Buggy class at the 2010 BADLANDS Fall Brawl in Myrtle Beach earlier this month.

Congrats John!!

Engine won't be ready until Mid-Season though if I had to guess a release date, plus the port design may chnage by then. |
