What pipe are you using with the graph on the JS engine? It looks very comparable to the JX21 chart you have.

JS is graphed with 9886 pipe and 086 pipe that's two graphs of the JS...

The JX graph is the Ninja 2042 pipe.

This season i have ran 2 engines
1) EBJX
2) stock JS

I can say the stock JS has more power and throttle response than i ever got out of any OS, and the JS is box stock.

I can speak for ed's work it is top notch. I dont see it as hype at all. Ed could have had the engine out earlier but he will not settle for anything less than perfect. I have ran many of his motors and they are all top notch. I cant wait for this one, but i am happy to as long as it is up to ed's standards, than i will know it is the best. You guys will be very happy with anything that ed puts his stamp on, this engine will be no exception, with the countless hours he has put in on refining this motor, it should be the best that he has come up with. So hype or no hype i and many other will continue to talk about this beast that is coming out. Cant wait:):):)

Ditto to what Joe said above. I, too, ran the same engines this season. I only ran the JS for one race before giving it back to Ed. That race was the Pro Series event at Blue Diamond raceway this past summer. I was able to match Billy Fischer's pace in qualifying and he only hot lapped me by .05, which for me being a touring car guy... I was happy as hell with that. I blew out in the main though... go figure. The engine is smoooooth, powerful, and fuel efficient.

Granted, the engine I ran was one of the first 3 pre-production units Ed had. They had a few issues Ed found for the factory to resolve, hence the wait for things to get completed for true production. Testing makes perfect folks.

I can't wait to get my finished production unit. :D

If im not mistaken JS racing is a Malaysian Company and a Malaysian is responsible for some or not all of the original design of the engine :D:D:D

Correct me if im wrong :sneaky:

Iv been running for EB Mods for a couple of months now. He is great to deal with and a incredible Modder. He modded a stock Go Tech into the best motor I'v ever ran. I used to complain about not having power, Since he modded them they have all the power I need on any track and surface. EB Mods will be seeing alot of me from now on. Thanks Ed for the great work on my Engines.

I saw these motors run all season with Matt while i was running stock Go's. Matt's EB Mods Go motor's where BALLISTIC. I plan on getting Ed's motors this season. The quality that i saw in the modded motors was just amazing. Can't wait till I can come up with some money to order motors for next season!

Matt Farris 11-17-2009 05:20 PM

You know I will be running EB Mods moters next season.

Matt Farris 11-17-2009 05:26 PM

JS Racing is a Malaysian Company. But both JS Racing and myself have design time into this engine. It's very much a JOINT design.

Looking forward to running this engine. Ed always has great stuff.

jbright33 12-20-2009 02:06 AM

edd hopefully some time this week or after christmas i can get up there and get one of these off of ya. hopefully you get the truggy versions in before motorama need a motor for my d8t.

JUD 12-20-2009 02:53 AM

What engine is this engine based off of? Picco? O.S.? Nova?

easyryder 12-20-2009 03:07 AM

Just finished reading the thread, Asian based, some ties to GO plants, lots of good motors coming out of Asia.

j_blaze14 12-20-2009 06:12 AM

from that pic, carb looks go, i've tuned many of them. probably different internal parts as the alpha motors did, but mostly go based. the reason people want too know who makes the motor is because everyone has their favorites and the ones they hate. some love italian motors and some hate them and vise versa for chinese or taiwanese motors. i think there is a lot to be said for go motors that a lot of other companies are basing their line of motors off them and designing motors with some of their products. i know of a big italian company that does the same... these js series look very nice. is the crank tin coated or titanium nitride?

jpalessi 12-20-2009 08:10 AM

JS Racing is an entirely new factory out of Taiwan. This engine isn't based off anything other then Ed's R&D. Totally new case design, sleeve, crank, rod,ect ect. all new! and it rips!:tire:

Peter Martin 12-21-2009 11:28 AM

Engines will be in stock at TKO next week. 086/9886 pipe is best along with OS P4 plugs.

Merry Christmas !

Peter, if they are 1/2 as good as the OPS motors I got from you they are going to rock. I will order one.
