Congratulations Chris..... That's freaking AWESOME!!!

Guys Chris also told me he was able to go 13 minutes per tank. So in the 20 minute main he only pitted once.

Chris runs the EBMods JS Race Prepped .21 engine and Nitrotane 30% Fuel

As Ed said I worked out my mileage to be 13 minutes consistently after both qualifers and I do not have the most fuel efficient driving style lol I've done the one stop strategy before in some mains but always had to worry about how close I would be, with my JS engines I do it and have plenty of confidence it won't be an issue and don't have to adjust my driving. Thanks for all the support Ed!

Congrats Chris! Ed mentioned you were running a race prepped .21 and nitrotane fuel. What plug, pipe and clutch set up are you using... (I realize you're in AZ)? Just taking notes. Thanks,

Im running a Novarossi 9853 pipe with a 41021 header, I run the stock Losi clutch stuff but run a steel flywheel with 2 carbon and 2 aluminum shoes with all green springs and P4 plug and a 6mm restrictor. It makes for a really smooth and driveable powerband but still has plenty of power when you need it.

gdux 01-14-2011 12:40 PM

Sweet, Thank you! I forgot about the restrictor, but you got it:)

It was great to run my new JS engine today. Thanks to Joe for the tuning help. I am very impressed with the power and I can't wait to get it on the track and really let it rip!!!

Thanks!! This is my second season running the Mugen MBX6, MBX6T and my first running the EBmods engines and fuel, I can't wait. I have a race in a month and I am really looking forward to showing how great these engines are.

Hey Erik look foreward to meeting you at the cabin fever race.I was the only one running the js engines in the NCT series last year and it will be nice to have someone else running them too.Mine are bone stock ones and have 6 or 7 gallons on them and still hold a great tune.I probably should hit Ed up for some help getting some new ones it wont be long till there done.Lee Hackney

Let me know when you want to be here I have plenty of room in my house!! One of our biggest races of the season is Memorial day weekend. Lee, I will be sure to meet up with you at Cabin Fever. If I remember correctly you and I went through the step on off section at the Great Snake side by side battling for the bump in buggy. That was a awesome battle!!! I am really itching to race I have not raced since the Maptson.

nascarracer 01-16-2011 02:16 PM

Ya I haven't raced nitro since the mapston we have some carpet racing going on here that I hit sometimes.I'm going to Ogden Utah next weekend to break in my new agama 1/8 scale. Can't wait but it is a four hour drive, the stuff we do to race:nod:Lee
