That blows. I did like my GRP. Nova's P5XLT looks to be my new engine of choice.
|
I have been running a Nova P5 for the last few races now and absolutly love it. It has the race port done to it and runs perfect. Plenty of power everwhere and runs really cool. With the new heads that Mark had made it not only looks cooler but the head temps has droped as well. I have ran numerous motors now and this one is by far my favorite!

Sleeve Pinching / Resizing
Just an FYI to all, I had Mark do some resizing on some sleeves for me. All I can say is it was done first class. They seem almost factory new.
Mark, That .28 GRP that you modded and I had resized is freakin insane. |
Marks craftmanship is top notch. He did a Go Tech for me at the begining of the season which is very smooth and tops out very fast. He's currently fixing up a .25 Go for my truggy, and a new Nova as a back up should I ever need it

I was doing a little engine DNA crossing and instead of the engine getting enlarged ports and a bigger stroke......it grew a set of TITS!!!.......I think I just invented the perfect woman:p I think I will just sit here and squeeze these throttle bodies for awhile:D GOT MILK!!!!!

Did U drink the fuel by accident

i've got a ? for ya mark....how does crank case volume effect overall power and fuel mileage on a motor? i ask this because i decided to go thru all of my back up motors last week and stumbled upon my old, OLD hyper .21 race...threw it in and got it tuned up and barely got 6 min on a tank....after 3 tanks...i pulled the motor out, noticed that the back plate had a crack on one of the mounting ears so i decided to pull a spare back plate from my STS collection and sized them up...the STS backplate was almost 1/4 inch shorter than the original. I fired it up and ran few tanks more thru it and my run time jumped to almost 10 min, and my bottom end deffinatly improved.:weird:
nice tits by the way...are those real or did you have to pay for them :lol: |

My hobby shops buy the cheapest fuel ever, 1 selling some CW fuel ,, shit and the other one is not ordering byrons any more. I would like to try some of that cold fusion fuel, but don't want to buy the whole case just to try it. My question is Mark can I get 1 gallon sent to Phoenix NY it's about 3 hours East of the Buff, or would it cost me 60 bucks for a gallon of fuel. Because if I like as much as everyone a case would be no problem. Just drop me a pm if you have the time. Also for any one looken for a Great budget engine I got the
Nova BF21 2000 limited and I must say It halls ass even stock.Going to buy another 1 and send it to mark for a slight mod. |
Not even gonna ask about the BOOBS, do you have a darker set for BOB

Wayne- it sounds like you answered your own ? Case volume has a lot to do with running characteristics including runtimes, power delivery etc. You can have too much volume and that will have the opposite effects. Obviously every engine is designed with a different intent, otherwise, there would be only one engine size and style available from each company. Honestly, you could put combo after combo together and get different results but you mostly have to trust that company that built the engine to have a good initial design to build off of and since every engine is different, that is why the timing, crank bore diameter and length, port count and location, compression ratios, rod length, crank pin location etc are so important and that is why I have to know all these things so I can achieve the desired goal. Some engines need more volume and some require less and as you found out by experimenting, you found out the round about way that the hyper likes the volume increase. There are other ways to make the engine act and think it has more volume by increasing case pack, but that is my job to know how to accomplish that without having to charge you guys for a smaller backplate lol. How many times have you seen guys post that my turbo cuts, additional ports, advanced crank timing etc adds too much volume and what not and that it won't work right? More times than I can count but yet when compared to a stock engine of the same kind, it is a night and day difference between the two. I grind each and every engine to a specific spec per the customers requested style so you can have 5 of the exact same engines carved up 5 different ways and get 5 different running characteristics based on the finished specs.
Another thing to look at is if that cracked backplate was losing case pressure, your fuel signal will be weaker causing you to have to run richer settings to compensate so it could simiulate too much volume which in turn will kill milage and lose low end response and maybe that sts backplate may not be the perfect answer to the equation, it obviously was a much better one. |

Lol! The tits are just a joke to get people to relax, laugh and remember that this is supposed to be fun. Too many people getting too serious about the toy cars. A lot of heated discussions going on everywhere so I just want people to feel comfortable coming in here and feel they can be themselves.
