Many on this tread we have a STi,.... take your time to break-in and he will reward you with a very quick engine, with more power than the stock one... you will like it.

Many of us we invested up to 5 or 6 litres fuel making a break-in... take your time and use the Evo3 pipe.

hi,

did anybody know what is the horsepower for this sirio evo3 sti? i has bought a new one yesterday. during checking the package, a bit dissapointed about the documentation provided. anyway, feel excited to break-in and proud to own one.

thanks.

litespeed-dom 07-16-2006 10:08 PM

Manufacturer hp ratings are always a bit biased. This is also why Sirio does not have hp ratings.

You won't be disappointed with the power this motor will generate. My EVO3 STI the hardest ripping engine in my bag right now in comparison to my other motors, that includes modded JP, Rex, and OS.

I agree with Dom, Hp ratings are very overrated....Just make sure you take your time and break-it in properly...preferrably on a break-in bench..and it will scream.. ;)

oh, thanks. currently i'm using a LL5 but i found this motor difficult to get a good tuning plus it is very easy to overheat compare to OS. that's very disturbing.

will this motor difficult to tune? any advise? because i'm the only one who own a sirio evo3 sti in my area. during break-in period, what's the important things i need to take note?

thanks guys.

litespeed-dom 07-16-2006 11:35 PM

This motor isn't difficult to tune, but do small increments at a time.

Break-in bench? Better to not use one (never been a fan of those d*mn artifacts) and install it on your car and go thru the tanks running it.
