Well it all depends on how well you've treated your engine. Without overheating, proper fuel, good airfilter, and after run oil after usage, I'd say- safe side - every 10 to 12 hours, but as i say it all depends.

Yes, more Rpm's, more Hp, more power, but if you are on to sanctioned races you have to check with your track if they allow 5 port engines.

So it will be like a different engine? Has anyone ported out there carb? I was thinking out using a dremel. Diassamble the entire thing. Port it out the inlet and out let. Oh is there such thing as to big of a carb opening?

Thanks.. Mine had a hard life with the leaky evo 1 carb. I might have to look at replacing it soon I think.

Wow Wow!!! I wouldn't suggest you go grinding here and there unless you really know what you're doing.Don't get me wrong but sometimes small badly done stuff can make your engine loose power instead of gaining it. If you wan't a really bad ass kicking Sirio why don't you get one from Murnan Modified Engines, they go for $ 230.00 and really rocks (Ask Barry Baker).

Well I finally got my new....new engine. This one is correct. It still has a blue head. It has the proper number of ports and this one came with both the turbo and standard plug buttons. Everything looks to be good!

Default Break in settings...

What did you guys start at with your break in settings on your 12TRP engines. Here is what Trinity listed as the 'General' settings:

High-5 1/2 out
Low-2 1/2 out(Generally this should be flush with the end of the slide)
Mid-flush+1 turn out

Couple problems here though. First, I don't know whether these 'General' settings are what I should end up at after tuning, or if these are the break in settings. Second, when I turn the low speed out 2 1/2 turns, its not flush with the end of the slide, it seems like it would almost need another full turn to reach that point.

The included 'instructions' don't offer much in the way of starting points, so I figured I'd ask you guys.

Start the engine with the general settings. After it is running, open the HSN 1/4 of a turn at at a time until the engine starts to load up, then turn the HSN in 1/4 of a turn in and let in run at idle for at least 1 tank. The idle must be even, if rpm's go down or up, close or open the LSN 1/8 th of turn at a time. Let engine cool completely after first tank, and make absolutely sure piston is BDC during cool-off. Repeat this 4 more tanks and your "heat cycling" idle break-in is done, then it is time for track break-in for 4 more tanks, leaning HSN little by little until you end up with nearly at general setting on the HSN.
My EVO2 ended up with full power, and running like the Beep-Beep Bird with 5 3/4 out on the HSN and 3 7/8 out on the LSN, and at that point it is flush with the slide end.

Ok i'll just got off the phone with the guy at boca bearings. I wanted to get some upgraded bearings for my engine. He told me there is no way that the bearing was 11.2x21.2x4,8mm. He is trying to sell me a 11x21x5mm bearing. Will this bearing fit in my crankcase. I have the .12 trp pro.

Well here is a photo I just took of a OS plug and Novarossi plug so those who didn't know there is a length difference (like me) can see the difference. Both plugs are "normal", not turbo plugs.

how hot should sirio engines be to have an optimal/safe temp? i have a sirio .12 abc 3port non turbo. i think i have a rich setting coz i my temp does not go above 100 degrees C (average of 100 degrees centigrade, about 210 degrees farenheit).. thanks in advance guys!

Ok i'll just got off the phone with the guy at boca bearings. I wanted to get some upgraded bearings for my engine. He told me there is no way that the bearing was 11.2x21.2x4,8mm. He is trying to sell me a 11x21x5mm bearing. Will this bearing fit in my crankcase. I have the .12 trp pro.

Best you remove the Bearing and measure it, I purchased a 11x21x5mm bearing and it didn't fit.
