does the mid range needle play a important part in the motors temp, and the clutch engage point?

Is that OFNA turbo plug equivalent to Novarossi C7TGF??? Because that is the one you should be using.

What gearing do you have??? With such a small track you should be geared very low to make that Sirio get on power. If you have 1.0 module gears, use 15/48 on first gear and 19/44 on second gear.

the plug is a 51006 part number on it and it runs good never flames out or floods really, i dont know what its is equal to. i do have a hpi plug which i have heard are made by novarossi or atleast are very close, it is a cold-r8 (p/n 1508) do u thing they are the problem

i found these plugs are they the same it doesnt have the G in the part number?

i have the stock gearing which is 47/43 and 16/20 but i want to go to the .8 gears with a 22/58 28/52 or something close, is that wise?

Yeah get those, they are the same heat range, only diff is they are not gold plated.

No, you are to long geared for such a small track. If you want to go to 0.8 modules go to 20/60 on firts gear and 25/54 on second gear. But I think you are still going to be long. I would stay on 1.0 modules and go to 15/48 and 19/44 and if you are to short you can allways put back ypur stock spurs 47/43 and leave the new 15/19 pinions.

Yes, you are udergeared and you are not using the Sirio's power band effectively.
Check my car's setting a couple of posts back, and my track is about 1,000 ft long, and the main straight is about 200ft long, and I'm geared to the shortest second gear possible with 0.8 module (25/54).

so since u run a mtx3 and a evo 2 your recomendation with be worth gold, but on the 1.0 gears and the 0.8 gears which do u like? i see that the mugen drivers use the .8

my total track size should be more like 500-700 feet i geuss but still i need to get up to speed which i am not the current time. do u know what the stock r40 and g4 gearing is? those are my major competition at the track?

Actually the 0.8 modules allow you to make finer steps in gearing, but they have limits when you need shorter gearing. The 1.0 modules make bigger steps between gears, but allow you to get shorter gearings, which would be more adecuate for your track conditions.
The reason top drivers from Mugen use the 0.8 modules is because most top level competition is done over large flowing tracks, and they make better use of the larger gearing possibilties.
The other technological reason is that 0.8 modules are a little bit smaller, so they give you a tad more acceleration because there is less centrifugal mass to move, but that isn't noticeable but by the best pros of the hobby.
The use of one module system over the other depends if you can build your gearing equally with both systems, than I'd go with 0.8 modules, but if you can't get the right gearing with them you must go with 1.0 modules.

i was noticing that to get my top speed i was almost out of track and into the corner at my track, this should help alot, do u know of a gearing manual or guide i would love to be able to get a couple sets and kow what type of reaction to look for instead of trying blind.

No, I think that is still to long on 0.8 module for your track, and those are the shortest gearings you'll get with 0.8 module:

20/60 gives you 7.579 final gear ratio on first speed
25/54 gives you 5.457 final gear ratio on second speed

If you go to 1.0 modules, you can get:

15/48 gives you 8.084 final gear ratio on first speed
19/44 gives you 5.850 final gear ratio on second speed

15/47 gives you 7.916 final gear ratio on first speed
19/43 gives you 5.717 final gear ratio on second speed

15/46 gives you 7.747 final gear ratio on first speed
19/42 gives you 5.584 finalgear ratio on second speed

16/48 gives you 7.579 final gear ratio on first speed
20/44 gives you 5.558 final gear ratio on second speed

Right now you have:

16/47 gives you 7.421 final gear ratio on first speed
20/43 gives you 5.432 final gear ratio on second speed

Conclusion: you have 4 shorter gearing combination options on 1.0 modules than what you currently have right now.
