Hi guys have just finished modifying 3 xxxv engines for a couple of our more prominent drivers .
with the aim of getting more runtime ,the results were awesome there was some serious power increases across the rev range and we were doing 6 min pit stops without stressing the engines .
Using the 2611 pipe .
2 of the engines were run at our resent state titles both had over 2 hours of running and not one flame out or plug.and the tune is much easier to set than previous .

So let me get this straight, you modified three engines and got more power across the RPM range, 20-percent more run time, and they're easier to tune? I have a dyno and I'd love to test one of these engines. Where can I buy one?

Hey all I have a xxx 12 that needs new bearings anybody know the part number for the rear main bearing? I ordered one from kyosho part number 12090230 and the damn thing is just a little too small. The bummer is the package says for the xxx .12 but it obviously is not the correct bearing.

I think this is the part number, the one you mentioned. What exactly do you mean 'little too small'?

What i mean is that the I.D. is correct but the O.D. is just a tiny bit smaller than the original bearing that i pulled out of the block. Maybe .5 millimeter difference.

ok here it goes , i am rebuilding a sirio on road engine for a local friend , i have researched through boca , called a few well known engine guys that there engines are based off of sirio and cant get a definititive answer .

the rear main bearing on this s12-t3 i sti measures exactly 11.18 x 21.18 x 4.87 mm . what is the actual bearing size referred to when ordering a replacement ? 11.2 x 21 x 5MM?

Now that's a coincidence.
I bought 3 bearings for Sirio .12 from a shop that closed down.
Yesterday I wanted to replace the main bearing in one of my engines and it turned out that the first package I opened was the wrong bearing. It measured 11.2 x.21.2 x 4.9mm.
They all had the same product number and the other two bearing were 12x22x5.

You want that bearing?
PN me your address and I send it to you.

Hey guys,

the default shimming on the XXXV is for use with 16% nitro, right?

It has 2 shims, the one is 0.25, the other is smaller (guess 0.15)
but was stuck on the head button and did not bother trying get it out
for measurement.

Btw, the motor was too tight at first tanks and very difficult to idle.

Does anyone know any online shop that has Evo4/XXX con rod in stock? I'm having a hard time locating one for my Alpha ABI.
