Hey guys how can you tell if your rod or crank is no good? Got an evo3 and just replaced my piston& slv. when I put the conrod on the crank pin I noticed there were some play. Running on a tight budget so I just need the part to get my evo3 singing again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

there is normally a tiny bit of play.
get a set of calipers and measure your crank pin, make sure it is 'round' if this has warn oval in shape then you could have some problems :batman: |
Checked my crank with the calipers & got 2 diff. # so I guess it's out of round. Thanks for the help.

I just realized that I have a tear in the boot on the carb, do they sell a replacement or do I have to get a new carb.
