Id hardly let stock gear ratios decide anything when you can change them to whatever you want (well I assume you can with the G4 :D :D )

the reason i put it that way is lets say i buy a mtx3 i would then also buy the gears to give it the highest possible gear ratio to run on our local track

so doing the same with the G4 is probably still going to yeild a result with the G4 still having a lower ratio

but honestly i havent checked into it that far yet

the point i guess is my local track is small (and i dont plan to travel much) so i am trying to assmemble the best possible car i can for that track

and ive decided to get the G4 because ive found an unbeatable price so it only makes sense to me to try to get the rest of the stuff i need to suit it toward that track

honestly im leaning toward novarossi engines since ive had nothing but great luck from them but the sirio is available at a much better price than the top of the line novas are going for these days especially now that trinity has the exclusive importing rights

For me to do a full change of gears (ie 4 new gears) in parts its not even $20 so have a look in to it for the G4.

Re: the novarossi, *cough* don't be scared of airmail :) shop outside the box you live in.. lol..

Iif you do go sirio just make sure you get a EVO 2

i will definelty be purchasing the smallest clutch bell gears and largest spurs i can get in fact since ive now thought about it i may as well order them when i order the kit i know kfactory makes some

believe me i will shop for the best deal i can ive been known to buy foam tires from hong kong to save some money and thats a long way away me here near Washington DC

No problem, you can use Nova plugs.
The Novarossi C7TGF is equivalent to the Sirio SOO1720127.

You mean to much power, or to much money???

I've checked prices for the "evo2" at Trinity's shopatron, and they are $299.99, and I don't think they'll be less than $260.00 somewhere else, so a Murnan Sirio for $230.00 is a great deal, don't you think so??

Yes, but that is the threaded crank version, which at Trinity's Shopatron goes for $229.99.
The SG crank version goes for $299.99 at Trinity's, so when Tower gets it, expect price to be around $260.00.
Of course I may be wrong, lets hope Tower sells the SG version at the same price as the threaded one, it would be a real bargain, because I paid $300.00 for my S12TRP SG "evo2" in Europe.

R1ceboy 02-16-2004 02:52 PM
