do you care about any loss of low speed power?

Houston 76 01-24-2013 08:44 AM

⏫⏫⏫ I believe I could stand to loose a bit, just wanting a top end pipe for larger tracks. My club track is gulf coast raceway in porter Tx, there hosting this years fuel roar nats

Also probably gonna go with a works clutch when my stock rc8.2 goes out prolly go with the "light" after reading here seems like the best choice.

houston 01-24-2013 10:38 AM

then i would probably just invest in a 41019,41001,41005 or 41026 ,header , that will create more top end runout with that pipe but will do so at the sacrifice of some torque which can be clutched back in

the werks clutch is great for doing just that bro

hope this helps

Houston 76 01-24-2013 10:59 AM

Ok cool, I'll start browsing headers, i love this btt smooth engine prolly gona send mine in to have the Houston tune done in a month or so

You will benefit from a BTT with more grunt at Gulfcoast raceway. Tons of traction and HUGE. Hard packed, smooth track. I think that track can hold the torque of a Houston .28, LOL.

hope all is well bro

.28 ugggh , A ROMA is already over the top and fun ;)

lmk if you need anything

What's up man?

I was just over-emphasizing the traction that track has. And it gets better as tires wear down. Lots-o-traction. LoL.

I'm hoping to order a couple engines in the near future. I'll be in touch.

houston 01-25-2013 08:25 PM

Just lmk bro

Monty, I thought I read here you called a driver Ali, is he from Kuwait? The reason I asked is I am debating on going to Thailand for their race at the end of April and I noticed an Ali from Kuwait was already registered. I thought he was running some of your Fusion loved engines.

Ok my next question, I registered pro already :weird: Never raced with real rules before, just the Singapore Open invitational 1/10 on road and I had my arse handed to me  I will run my new XB9, I won an OS speed at the Vietnam truggy finals, so I have 3 engines to choose from the Speed, the Bonitto, or the Orion? The OS is the newest, but the Bonitto is all but new still.
