hi guys i got a novarossi 21p5xlt from H.E.S it has been running great up until last week when i was at my club race day the first 2 rounds it went fine but after that i had trouble every time i gave it WOT and let it come back to idle it dies the engine has had about 7 litres i have tryed plugs and looked for air leaks the plugs i have tryed are novarossi C5 & C6 and O'donnell 97t & 99t.

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

What you may have is a leaking front bearing, I had this issue 2 seasons ago and that was my issue. To confirm get the engine running then spray brake cleaner in the area of the front bearing, if the engine dies when doing this then replace the front bearing if nothing happens then feel free to spray other areas to conferm and also look at the clutch condition.

When I bought my p5 from Monty he stressed to me to have him change the front bearing to the 17011 which I had him do...He said the stock bearing in the p5 is crap and will leak after about a gallon...Did you by chance have him do that if not i would say that is your problem..I am no expert by any means.

the engine has been tuned fuel is 25% A.T racing platinum pipe is an alpha efra 2081 the plugs i have uesed are novarossi C5 & C6 and O'donnell 97t & 99t the clutch is a hot bodies clutch and the car is a hot bodies D8T

Try a different engine of the same brand preferably and see if the same symptoms persist
