Hey Monty what plugs do I want in these motors?

Also...man that Toro sure is sooooo quiet compared to the 21-4, is it just the different exhaust?

Everythings been fantastic so far...4 tanks on each mill so far

more than likely , the 86 series pipes are loud but make awesome power . the torque pipes are usually a bit quieter . it might be a little bit to do with the extra long stroke also .

Just to make sure my engine was up to snuff.
I ran 7min and still had a 1/4in of fuel in the tank on a pretty much WOT track.

that 2060 is alot like a 9853/41005 setup

longer round header = instantaneous bottom end and falls flat on the top very fast , best used with very top oriented pipes .

medium round header = (jammin, dynamite) the best compromise between the three and will work the best with 9886 pipe ( ya baby!)

short round header = very smooth bottom end response with excellent pull from bottom to top , best used with low end to mid range pipes .

] long square header 41005= the square headers work excellent with the low end oriented pipes such as 9853 , 9901 , 3004 , 3005 and copies of these pipes . the long header can be used with a 9886 pipe when you have lots of speed burst stretches on the track of 50 -80 feet .

medium square header = (ofna) my favorite header for low end pipes

short square header 41001 = this header can create even more mid to top pull from your low end pipe (9853) without sacrificing the linear feel of the pipe . do not use with top end pipes !

there is much more i could explain but i tried to narrow it down

hope this helps ,
monty

is this the header you r referring to in this post http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/9008

Hey Monty, i have a new 21/5K, whats a good pipe set for it, seen alot of guy's running the 1005, but i would like something more efficient. Never ran this engine so i thought i would ask;)

houston 04-28-2009 07:31 PM

one of my very favorite pipes on that engine was the ofna 063 pipeset with the ofna header it comes with . sirio 2013 was another badass one when it needed just a "tic" more top as you would say ;)
