The 41005 headers were not included on the order from italy , I was kinda bummed when I was told that . I only have one new 41005 and one hardly used one that I ran at the nitro challenge for about 30 min. Total .

And no I am not offering the r2r service just yet , that consumes a lot of my time and the weather around here is not right just yet as I actually break the engines in in a car and not on a break in bench .

Both motors ripped this past weekend, couldn't be happier. Want to make the switch to Byrons though, what do you suggest?

Thanks

Hi Monty and thanks.

Did you get to talk to him abaiut the new pipe for buggys?

What is the Nova partnumber for the piston/sleeve of the N21R?

Anders

No , we didn't discuss too much about the pipes but I can just about guarantee you its an efra legal version of the 9853ss ;)

The part #s will more than likely be different for that nitrotec engine and all the p/s sets will now have /10 after the part# as this is how they are designating the sets that have the all machined pistons . Maybe not all the p/s sets but most :)

If your front bearing and rear main bearing are not aligned the engine will run inefficient and wear itself out quicker .

Ill give ya a tip , change your rear bearing then your front , it has seemed to make a little difference in all the bearing changeouts I have done .

An untrue crankshaft can also cause the same issues ;)

would brand new engines not be properly aligned from factory?

so that I understand you your saying remove and replace rear bear then remove and then replace front??

is there an alignement tool or something ?

they should be aligned properly from the factory but nothing is ever really perfect . if your crankshaft spins nice and free without the p/s/r set installed then its good to go .

and yes on the installation order

just a bearing extractor/installer :tire:

anybody want one of the two of these :D

should be two .30mm aluminum and 1 .10 copper from the factory .

how much fuel through the engine ?

probably needs a new rod ?

Hi.

How did the filament look like? Does it looked like it is pushed in to the glowplug body?
If this is the case, you have to much compression or running fuel with to much nitro. I would advice you to put in one 0,1mm shim in any case. I have exeprience with ghost flameouts on some Nova engines and it always goes away when i add one 0,1mm shim.

If the filament is burned or black, engine is running too lean and needs to be re-tuned.

mbx5rcr34 03-03-2010 12:34 PM

thks for the reply guys you guys are great ,yes the filament was pushed in to the glow plug body in most cases & sometimes the filament is in too pieces ?? weird but i will let him know ,thks gain for the input ,one more thing what is the race tune setting on this limited edition? i try my best to help him to tune it right but i noticed on this NOVA ,it likes the rich side on the top & lean on the bottom

if its shimmed properly 3.75 turns out on lsn and hsn will get you close using 30% AND PRETTY CLOSE USING 20%
