Just received my first ever order from Houston, very happy with customer service, and I will definitely buy from again. Why buy a Go or Alpha if you can get a 367 for $225.00, yes it is a 4 year old design but it still kicks but and is reliable.

Just curious Monty, what do you charge for break-in service. Only during summer months, right?

Monty,
could we interupt your thread for a few post and here your thoughts on getting power out of engines at high altitude? With the nats coming up in colorado this may be a interesting topic for some.. so whats your take to get runtime/power or atleast get the same level or close to it at altitudes like th at? |

ok, so in theory..
go up to maybe 40%, lower deck height(how much in general?), and make more compression, run the colder plug so it don't pop the plug and go from there? If your running a 6 mm restrictor I'm guessing that aint happening in colorado... That setup is setup to get power. I wonder what runtime is like for guys up there? |
One more question(for now:D). I'm running a Toro in my buggy, and it's running like a raped ape, but I'm having trouble making even 7min.I can't tell you exactly what temp it's running am, around 220 I think. I've kinda gotten away from tuning to temp and been just watching and listening. I'm running 30%, Dyn053, and a MC-59. Any Ideas what I'm doing wrong, I'm a fairly smooth driver. Thanks again.

if you are running it in a buggy put like a 3mm restrictor in it :D you should definitely be getting much better runtimes , check your venturi insert size , use 5.5mm or 6mm for buggy 6.5 or 7mm for truck , stiffer clutch in truck also . Alan- i should be asking you guys questions , from what i hear you guys are the reigning engine authorities ;) |
