Scotty you should know he was probably running a 3 port, If you can go 10 with almost all your stuff then Tebo can easlly do it. Look at his driving style super smooth on the trigger and maybe even has his epa backed off 5 or 10 percent. You should try it .

I can run over 10 minutes on a tank, but I would wouldn't do 10 minute pit stops.. If I did I'd run out of fuel sooner or later.. I'd need 11+ minute run times to consider 10 minute pit. My Guess he would do the same.. IE want a 2 lap cushion for fuel. But yes Jared is found of the 3-port in his buggy, and he s uber smooth on the throttle..

NEw should have metal to metal contact about the last 1/8 of the stroke. Relatively speaking.

If it is a broke-in motor it should have no pinch with out a glow plug, with a plug it isn't actually pinch it is called Compression, but most people still call it pinch..

Someone has no idea what they are talking about.. It is only when it loses compression that is is worn.. But then you can have it resized, and run it some more..

That's so true Scott M. And if u need someone to pinch Ur motor for u, Lance at RcRenew.com does a great job on residing and motor mods. Plus he will get it back to u quickly.

Thanks for the info. I checked out their site and am going to send them two motors. I know the Orion would benefit from this but I have a GRP tuned .28 that I tried to mod and myself and it never ran right again but maybe they would know how to save it.;)

Hey guys, Just wondering what pipe works best with the US Spec .21 , I have been using at 2013 with a random header, Seems to be a real pig on fuel and could never get it tuned right. Any input would be appreciated!

thanks

That is one of the older engiens which is Picco based if I remember right, so a Jammin pipe would be your best bet, imo.. JP3?

The US Spec is made by Picco (IIRC), one of their pipes would probably be the best option. The 2069 or the 2034 are the ones to have.

I picked up a Discovery 5 port and 2058 combo for my DNX. What break in steps are you all following? The book or "the bible to break in" post? Hobby shop sold me Dynamite 4 plugs. Should I go with a cooler plug? Running Byron 20/12% and I'm about 200 feet above SL in 50-70 temps atm.

Bible for break in new rod at 2.5 gallons
I would say run hot glow plug inless u can find the ori 82178 needle and button then can run med. Plug
Stock bottom needle is short so mid range is rich will need hot plug to compensate
would also strongly reccomend using 30% nitro fuel for best performance i like 30-10 but most run 30-9 these days
