when i first started the s3 was my first engine, i would kill v specs, and rb c5's on a small track. it was all infield, and one straight. they would catch up at the end of the straight, but back in the infield i would pull away again.

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone is having problems with there l2g motors. I seen a few at my local track towards the end of the year and all of them had bearing issues.

I have read a little about older generations having some bearing trouble and how the L2G should be better or fixed. Now I'm worried a little. Is this just that they wore out sooner than they should and they will be forced to replace them for next season with something better? Get some details if you can  |
I would say that if you have to replace your bearings at the end of the year, I would say that is ok. Bearings are cheap, motors on the other hand are not. They are a wear item anyway......just thinking

The s3 was like brand new had about 2 races on it

I had just about every .21 and .28 Rb they have made over the last couple of years and I have had very good luck. Very reliable. This year I am running C6 with 2045 and why I did not run this combo all along I have no idea. I replace the bearings after 2 gallons on all of them it is fairly cheap. Just my 2 cents.

im planning on putting a rb tm928 w/ the hpi roto-start in my lst2. and i have a question about what pipe to get. theres a really nice combo deal for an rb tm928 at rcplanet.com but im not sure if i should go w/ the recomended pipe that comes w/ the engine or go w/ somthing like one of the ofna jp line pipes. i really like the jp-3. and i guess im going to have to buy a stock lst2 manifold cause i cant find any rb's that will fit the lst2. i was told i could use one of the rb on-road headers and it would fit, but that just sounds to jerry-rigged. will i be sacraficing any power w/ the stock lst2 manifold? i was also told i could take the header that comes w/ the combo and go to like a welding shop and have them bend it to fit the lst2. but i just dont know about that. anyway, what pipe do any of you rb experienced guys think would be best for my lst2. cause i really like the tm928, gotta have one. thanx in advance, clay unruh

I just recently acquired a WS7II and have no idea what plug to use in it, what do ya'll recommend?

You can run a RB #6 , MC59..... It depends on high of the nitro you run too. I run Bryons 25% with a MC59 in my modded S7.

A little cheaper and easier to find too.

Pick MC59s for 25% on a S3 or S5 too?????

in my non turbo rb's I have always liked the rb#6, in my c6bb and my ws7x3 lg2 I have found that I like the o.s P4...I run on 30% sidewinder
|
Yup! I run them in my .12 RB also. I have no luck with the RB#6. But that is the plug that comes in their engines. I do run the RB#6 turbo plug in my C6 BBT tho with no problems.
