Ah i see they are different between the 9 and 10 models.
The Shark 10 has the same part number for the liner as the X10: 1146-33

So was the Shark 9 a good 3 port? Thoughts on how the Kanai engine will perform?

The Shark9 was my favorite RB in buggy. The Shark9 also had a balanced crank in it, not sure if this Kanai engine does. My only complaint on the 9 was the L2G cooling head, and that Kanai has the newer taller heads so thats awesome. With a 2058 pipe that engine was an easy 10 minute pit stop engine on any track I raced on.

So the 3 port Shark9 motor was a crazy bottom end motor?

No, not a crazy bottom end motor, it was a great usable powerband in a buggy. I never tried one in a truggy because thats where the C6USA did it's work, because I knew that was more than I liked in a buggy. IMO the Shark would not have been a great choice in truck, I am sure it would have worked but I can see myself wanting more bottom end in truck than the Shark provided.

Is the V13 identical to the V12 and V14?

Ok you scared me enough into buying a V11 Blast from absolutehobbyz.com they had one for 179.99 still. Looks like I got their last one.

BUT they still have V12 for $199.99 if you want those. Nice place to buy from. AUG25AHZ is 25 off 250 for AUG12AHZ is 12.50 off 150.

I see folks on here really liked the V11. After I reviewed the parts PDF more I see its actually a crank from a B9 and piston/sleeve from a B11. I've had both these engines and always paid $300+ for them so for 179.99 that's a great deal.

Ya, AH is good. Store isn't quite as polished as Amain, but hard to compete since Kendall is a programmer and customizes everything as needed. Sucks there are no more V12s but I bet the V13 or 14s will be in stock soon. I know there is a V13, not sure what the differences is between them though.
