Well I've been unable to sell this V9, so now I'm thinking of sending it to get modded. My question is, is the V9, which is made of C5 parts - i.e. a 5+1 and not with MES exhaust, a good candidate to get modded - for power? Or is it just never gonna' have the power of those with the MES like the V8 (and V11 - V13 I think)?

Hey guys so my Blast V11 is still awesome, with the 2045 pipe and 204 manifold. The only thing is that I find myself searching for more top end since this pipe/manifold combo is very powerful on the bottom. What different manifold do you guys recommend for a smoother powerband from bottom to top?

192 manifold is what you need. A 41001 nova manifold will shift power to top even more. The 2058 is really nice on that engine. It was the best fit for my Fire 11 and i'll be trying it on my C6 USA when Neal gets it finished.

Rob, have you run a stock RB blast engine at all?

Thanks for all the help guys. It sounds like the 192 i gonna be what I need for a smoother powerband. Where can I find one of these? nothing on amain shows 192 and google doesnt come up with anything except an article on redrc

Rob, you could put a tin can on that C6USA, that Neil is modding, and it would still be faster than anything on the track!

Had my first truggy race in a couple years last weekend*, running the Fire 11/2058 in my RC8T. The engine was awesome!! Consistent tune and temps, no issues, plenty of oomph to clear jumps with short take-offs, and a shrieker down the back straight.. I'm kind of disappointed that they don't seem to be on sale anywhere here anymore. What engine out there would be closest to it?
There were a lot of BXR's at the race...
* Heartbreaker for me in the semi..
