My lhs only has OD, OS and Reedy plugs, which would be best? I'm thinking the OS P7 (same as a RB #6 and Works #6)

You can go with O'donnell 99, then u have to stay with the or plugs, if u go back and forth with rb, the head button will strip out the threads. I've used them all the time, od 99.

Yep! While I have you here, is there a turbo head button for the NR-P4? The first edition, if not which button will fit it.

Hey guys,
I got a truggy yesterday and it's in need of a new engine. I'm able to get a X10 with 2045 for a very reasonable price, but how do you guys think it will perform in a truggy? Does it have a decent bottom?

I'm also able to get a K10 but I've heard that's more of a budget engine, ain't it?

Thanks,
Erik

The X10 will pull your truggy around just fine. Of course the B10 will be a little more powerful, but the X10 will work just fine. The one thing you will most likely want to do is pick up a 198 header as the kit always comes with a 192 header. This will give you the extra bottom end you need in a truggy.

The K10 engines do make pretty good power for the price, but they are Taiwanese engines and the quality and the carb just aren't there like the Nova based engines.

Thanks for your reply! And in case I might place it on my buggy, how's the top end as it is a 3-port engine?
There seems to be very little info on this engine over the internet unfortunately. I did read the internals are identical to the Shark 9 engine, but also that engine does not result in a lot of info.

For a three port engine it has great top end power. I ran the Shark9 in my buggy all last year and loved it. Great power, and great fuel mileage as well!
