For the GRP 2053 FLS pipe do you need one or two o-rings?

Generally the smaller restrictors give better fuel economy at a loss of preformance. The larger restrictors offer improved preformance and less economy. It's probably better to start with the 7mm restrictor and see how the engine runs and change from there if you think you need to improve one charicteristic or another

i mean i was event thinking the un thinkable ...running the 6mm on the truggy ...i didnt notice any difference...or well not noticable running the 6 or the 7 ...i idid notice better fuel economy ...with the 6 ...and fuel economy wins races ...but ...really i get great milage on the 7 in my x2 ....but buggy i would say the 6 or lower for runtime ..and the performance loss is negligible:tire:

ninja head on grp?

has anyone ever ran a different head on the tuned grp. from what little i know about the grp, they are very similar to the old b01 ninja. i have heard this from several different people. were the b01's turbo plug motors?

plugs?

Do all of you guys run grp plugs? Also what temp plugs work best in a tuned .21 .I live in TN and have been running hots, but I was told I shoudn't be. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I had a question on the GRP collet that came with my tuned .21. I installed the collet and then put on my losi flywheel. The flywheel did'nt seem to seat properly or go all the way back so I went ahead and put on the losi collet and it seems to work fine. I guess my question is do you have to have a certain collet for each brand of ctutch system? Because the grp one definately didnt seem right with my 2.0 flywheel.

Most of the time you have to use the collet that is designed for the flywheel , the car`s collet .

im breaking in my tuned .21 and noticed that the high speed needle is almost past flush on the way out to get enough smoke for it to run right is this normal cause i read it should be .045 in from flush and the low speed needle seems right from the .o45 out from flush any tips would be appreciated thanks.

Briguy 04-01-2009 08:28 PM

Needle settings are going to be different from what you read and everyone lives in different climates . Temperature and humidity play a big role for tune settings . Just adjust to where it works best in your area .
