Do you guys think a JP-3 will work well with the new tuned buggy engine or just stick with the pipe in the promo kit? If anyone has experience with this please let me know, Id rather sell the GRP pipe since ive heard its prone to dents

Sure its prone to dents, like all aluminium pipes, but they are also approx 30 grams lighter.

You're right. I did get the promo kit at a ridiculous price though and would like to keep my JP-3 on the car, do yall think it will work ok?

It will work, just would be less than ideal i reakon, the 3009 pipe feels so smooth, i really like it, id only use that or the 2053, besides jp3 pipe isnt race legal is it? And it would be blasphemy to use one of these grp mills for bashing

I never bash, just club race where JP-3 is allowed. I will try it and let you guys know how it works, I should have my mill this week, its taking forever for horizon to deliver in the states.

Yes, I heard the same from my LHS, who thought they were going to have them in last week. I was going to pick one up. I'm now thinking I just may pick up another C6, but this time the L2G version.

I took my grp 28 off backorder and ordered an os 28xz.
Horizon has too much history with trying to get products to market and keep pushing back the release date.
From what I have seen the engine only are scheduled to arrive on 4/5. The promo deal with engine and pipe looks like they will not be in till the end of april/early may.

If I see the engine only come into stock on the 5th, I will be surprized.

Any recent opinions from you guys that have the GRP .28? I was just at my LHS on my lunch hour and they had this mill in stock with the pipe and header for the same price A-Main is selling it for. I practically made an "Impulse" buy but managed to stop my hands from shaking and get out of the store before I could grab my wallet and do any damage.

The GRPs are both excellent engines, basically the same as the Ninja .21 and .28s, as I understand, which are excellent engines.

Matt and Quinton. The Plex has these in stock, and as usual we destroy internet pricing.
