You can get a sleeve pinched. I have not found
anyone willing to re-bush a GRP rod yet. I will give
Ray a call. Thanks for suggesting him JonnyW.
I'm not going to let it bother me if I can't do
anything with my GRP engines. I have added
three new nitro engines to my arsonal since
the GRP parts dried up.

Thats kind of my view on doing rebuilds - the right way you - might as well replace!

If you look around you can find the parts you can't get them from the big hobby supplier's but i been able to find parts at most of the little out of the way shops and the best thing is there reasonable .Mainly because of the same thinking as some of the poster in this thread I love it more parts for me.

Run out of GRP plugs, and LHS only has 2 types of turbo plugs in stock at mo

Nosram 6T; and,
RB CP-02 Turbo

Which would be best for the GRP - mine is a MRT .21

Honestly the only other plug that i would run with the grp is the OD77t or OD97t, i know some guys have used os plugs, but once you go that route you have to stick with them from what ive heard. I had the same problem where my LHS could no longer get grp plugs. So i went with the OD77t and have not had any problems yet. I actually think it runs better to tell you the truth.

Good luck man!

No problem. It is good to know you can use Rb plugs. Good thing about the OD plugs tho. They are cheap and really easy to come by.

I always used OS turbo plugs when I ran GRP engines.
