Hey guys i just got into nitro off road like a month ago and started out running a buggy and i used the grp standard and i love the engine its very smooth but now i just got a truggy and bought a plus 4 to put in the buggy and was wondering if the grp could be put in the truggy and run well with no problems. Thanks in advance

Bob the standard will push your truggy just fine I know a few running the nontuned in trucks and they feel the standard better suits the truck as opposed to the tuned version. Glad to see you are enjoying the motor I knew it just needed a good home, hated to let it go but I wanted to try the extech 24 in my 8T 2.0.
Good luck

how bad is it.....a buddy ran his MR.21 for a good 5-8 min with no filter and then processed to try and start the damn thing for another 5 min even trying a new plug before realizing his mistake.(better yet i came and inquired what he was doing) and saw no filter through the side window....turned out that motor ran another 3-4 solid gallon's and got put away in a running condition....the amount of pebbles and rocks i pulled from the case was a sign it would never live again....well...i was sure wrong.

Awesome cory I am stoked you are happy with the grp, they are a great motor with a smooooth powerband. All the credit for the motor has to go to Alan Burton at the Speed Shop he put the pinch on it that has kept it running. Keep up the good driving and be patient, worry more about holding your line and being smooth and before you know it you will have your first victory.

Does any one know if they sell the black plastic carb insulator on the bottom of the carb where it goes into the motor. I broke mine trying to get the carb out of the motor. If they sell it can you let me know where to get it and the part number or is there any other carb that will fit in a GRP. Thanks
