I'm using a 2604 on a Matrix RW and it seems to perform very well, however I see that you recommend the 2611 for the Matrix RW.
Hello.......anyone there?????

hello CDS70

my apologies for the delay in getting back with you, there was info on the pipe i was waiting for from the factory and i got it yesterday

the 2611 pipe might be discontinued from the factory according to an email i recieved yesterday, i am trying to confirm that this is true, this is part of the reason i was hesitant in getting back with you on this question. i did not want to hype up the 2611 only for it to not be available

the 2611 pipe is a star based pipe where as the 2604 pipe is a nova based pipe. The 2604 is meant for use with the R3 and the V12's but can be used also with the matrix r and rw's with great success

if you have been running the 2604 with success i would stick with it to be honest, the 2611 might of offered a bit more run time or midrange but with its being discontinued it will no longer matter.

you can always experiement with other brands of pipes but sometimes if you found one that works with why mess with success

thanks

hello gary h

the C6BBT is our best selling engine these days.

the reliability has alot to do with your tuning abilities and how well you maintain the engine and the car.

in general we have very few problems with the engine. the use of turbo glowplugs was once thought to make the engines more difficult to tune but this is not true.

the engines will be very user friendly so long as you make sure all of the components that work with it are in good working order. clutch maintenance is very importaing with how the engine will tune, making sure your clutch bell bearings are in good working order will make a diference in how the engine tunes, bad bearings can cause engine tuning problems, worn clutch springs can create drag causing unexpected flameouts. these are the sorts of things i mean when i say maintaining the car

the OS is a great engine line and all of their engines perform well, or at least as well as the price related to the engine. The RG motor of theirs is a great engine for the price but wont run as hard as the SPEED V-spec, but then again look at the cost difference. Is one better to tune or more reliable than the other, probably not so keep this in mind with our engines as well.

hope that helps and please ask away if you have any other questions

thank you

kevin @ RB USA

dremelboy or michael 1

I am considering the XenonR .21. My question is, what % nitro is recommended to optimum performance? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Roger,
Most pilots opt for 25% nitro in on-road.
Thanks for considering our line of engines for your chassis.

Couldn't help but notice the Alpha is coming. Any idea's on a date. I need to get a new mill for the upcoming 1/8th onroad season.
Thanks
