Go Engines supply

I'm not sure what the plans are at AMain, Kendall replied to a post I made about 3needle carbs, said they were processing inventory and more stuff should be added to site in next couple weeks, that was 2 weeks ago I think, still nothing but what looks to be old parts on the site.

Last I heard Matt at Nitro North did not get any 3needle carbs in yet. Matt let us know if you can hook us up! You have been a truly great resource for GO stuff and customer care so if you have them I'll get mine from you for sure.

It's a headache that we're in between distribution chains right now, I'm sure it will get straight soon.

that is a real shame for GO engine users and GO sales in the US, Its now just another one of their medium price range Taiwanese motors that now has to compete against all of the web sites other motors...I have not dealt with them on motors and parts, is there normally a good supply of part for most models?

AZTman 02-13-2012 02:21 PM

Nah, as long as they will still wholesale to the longtime Go re-sellers then I could care less about what they compete with on the Amain site. Personally my main concern is what happened in the past. They sold out of stock and Go production couldn't keep up so Amain dropped them, then there was no source for Go until they regrouped. We'll see how it runs this time round.

What's happening out there lads ?

Gizzmatron, have you managed to run that 3 needle carb yet, or are you still frozen in your neck of the woods ?

what exhaust are yall recommending?
its the motor off the caster zx 1.5r. i believe its the r2100

ive heard the dynamite 086, a few ofnas and the thundertigers.

cant decide what to get! looking for somewhat of a budget exhaust, but not wanting to sacrifice power to quality. just depends on what you guys recommend!!!

+1 The GO EFRA 2072 is the weapon.
Some of the Dynamite pipes work good (086, 053), but the 2072 as Matt has suggested is your best option.

I have the Go 5-port, and a 2072 pipe that has a very small ding in it.
The ding is about 3mm x 7mm, and looks to be about 2-3mm deep. Do you think this ding will significantly affect performance in a negative way?
(Shipping damage, I assume)

if it is on the pipe it should be fine...the ding maybe fixed with the ole water in the pipe and freeze it trick.
