Hi fellow GO Engine racers
I'm finally registered on rctech!
I race with Grizz and the other kiwis down here in NZ and i'm proud to be part of the GO Engine Co race team and racing for Go racing.co.nz
I started racing nitro onroad back in 1993 and got into offroad in the late 90s, nothing beats it in RC for the thrill, challenge and pure enjoyment plus its a great croed of guys that race nitro offroad, we all seem to share the same passion and commitment to the sport and helping other in it.
thanks to my mate Grizz we were able to get our hands on the GXII a few months ago and what an awesome engine!!
It was great to get experience with tuning the new needle setup, and had all the engines running great at last weekends event.
Good luck to all the team at your up big comming 2011 ROAR 1/8th buggy offroad... when is it being run?

Hi Craig - welcome aboard the GO thread bro
Guys, Craig is my factory team driver here in NZ. He has a wealth of racing knowledge and experiance, (which is why we affectionately call him "The Guru"), so will be a valuable asset on here for sure.

hey Flanno, looking forward to crossing ditch later this year to meet and race with you, i'd say there will be quite a few of us going over for the femca race.
I race mugen also, the 6 buggy and truggy are fine peices of machinery and are very popular at our club.
i'll have to get a 6T soon, that truggy vid Grizz posted is my 5T thats halfway to a 6T... its known over here as the 5.6T

Although I really like the powerband of the .25 I steer people away from that motor. After a few gallons the bottom of the piston breaks out, I think Trey quit stocking the .25 and .28 for that reason.

Mother nature has been a little funky around here lately, but it's all good.
New motors are going out the door faster than I can import them, which is great. The US dollar is on a hike since the Bin Laden thing, so looks like the glory days of cheaper imports might be fading for us here in the not to distant future - which is why I stocked up large over the last few days
It incredible how many have been purchased grizz considering there can't be more than 100 guys running nitro offroad in NZ,then take into account all the alphas and other brands we see running...you must be doing something right
The GXII's sort of sell themselves. They look real sexy, they are super light weight, the internals are a bit special when compared to other models currently available, and they perform oustandingly (even with limited fuel through them). Very early days, and already some good race results from around the country. Why wouldn't you try one for NZ$299

Looks like the delayed release due to the extra R&D GO put into this motor was worth it. The GXII-5RHO is proving to be a brilliant product.
