so both 1thick and 1thin copper?...so there will be a total of 3 shims including the real thick aluminum colored 1?....how thick are each of these shims?...would i be going to .7mm or .4?

.7 as .3 is built into the head button, when it's run in remove the .2 shime & u should be in the ballpark depending on the quality of the fuel u use. JMO others might differ but read the text on shiming from the link & keep an eye on your pipe temps

Now i got another problem. The screw that tightens the carb neck broke inside the carb neck :/ This engine is just a hassle, maybe i'll just chuck it and keep it for parts.

then with a very small screwdriver put it through the hole & tap out the other side of the pinch bolt & repeat for the other side the pinch bolt is cheap so don't give up just yet ! |

what pipe do you guys recomend for the gx-5r?....i have a jp-4,is this a good pipe for these motors?
