Let me know what ya think of the 0801.

The 2072 out performed it on the dyno, but I want to see how it performs on the track.

The 2072 is good on fuel and helps the 66 rev hard without loosing bottom end.
I suspect the 0801 will increase bottom but want to know if limits top end and any changes in run times OK Stalkie.

I just got 4 of the new 0801 pipes in today, can't wait to try one! Also got the 2081, how does the 2081 perform? I hear it's more low end?

flanno, i won't pit for it, just the stopwatch lol ;)

Stalkie 07-17-2010 04:48 AM

:ha: What are you saying Magpie:cry: you wouldnt pit for me:cry: ;) LOL

Thats OK , I've got the wife for that:nod: But I prob wont get to run truggy tomorrow if we only have one group as I have to pit for her:(

The 0801 pipe gives the GX5 port a bit of crack, Tracy has it in her truggy and it pulls little wheelies more often than mine that has the 2072(same trug&engine)

Flanno 07-17-2010 05:06 AM

:D Magie

Thanks Stalkie. :tire:

Good luck tomorow guys.

Can someone with some tuning experience/expertise of the GX 7R summarize some essential tuning tips of this engine for us, please? I have not read the entire 740 pages of this thread...
