3 Port Go Tech - -

Guys,

I ran the Go 3 Port this past Sat. at the TN State Championship. The engine is a great "indoor, tight track" 1/8th motor at any level, or a stout budget motor for the begginner at any track. I had a 10th place overall finish, with the motor running impressively all night without having to touch the needles.

Set up -

Go Tech Sport 3 port
Turbo Button
Race Carb (Set up is close to the new production Race 3 port)
8 mm Restrictor
OD 77T plug

1.1 Springs / Purple Ofna Clutches

Dynamite 053 Pipe

Thanks Brandon. The race carb, you mean a carb off a 5 or 7 port? Std. carb not too good?

kamlooper - Yes, I ran the composite carb. off of the 5 or 7 race engine. I have not heard of any trouble with the aluminum. I was wanting to get comfortable with the new 3 port we have coming and it was a very similar engine.

Restrictor - 8 mm is what I ran. After a 5 min qaulifier I came in with a little under 1/2 tank in my buggy. I was good for 8 to 9 min easy. I also feel you can make the 10 min mark with a 7mm or 6mm.

Thanks.

Rocket42, We also had a 2 Go- 5ports, and Brian's 7 port at the race. All ran good. Brian's 7 port was strong.

When the .28 dies I was hoping to replace it with a .25 and be able to get roughly 9 or 10 minutes out of it. If I can see 8 minute tanks with the .28 on my track I'd be really happy.
ive been getting 8 minutes out of my .28...im running the Go 2047 pipe, OD97T plug, 7mm carb insert, 13T clutch bell, 1.0 springs and mugen soft Al clutch shoes...

I haven't actually tried timing my run times yet but I know for my first race I tried pitting every 6 minutes or so. I've run around the track with a fellow 8T owner that has a vspec and we went for what seemed like a lot longer than 6 minutes before filling up. I'll get a stop watch out once I get the carb inserts and see how long I can go. 8 minutes or more would be awesome, can't complain about that.

sport or race???

if sport the 086 or 2047...

if race im not sure, but im betting the 086 is gonna be the best pipe and or once again the 2047...

the Go 2047 is the pipe that im finding works great with everyone of the Go engines i have tested it on...
