You have a distributor in Brazil. The web address is in this advert.

http://www.massivemods.com.au/produc...roducts_id=284

If he does the MG66 motors he will have the GX Series too I would expect.

Or contact Tabushi (Patricio Concha - from Chile) on this forum for GO engine details in South America. If it's to do with GO in your part of the world, "PATO" will know about it

I love the .25 6 port race engine. Once i tried, never went back to .21's in Truggy.

Mhhh in stock form it comes with NON Turbo Head, for me, best glow plugs for now have been RB #6 Non Turbo, and the Odonnel .21 - .50 medium Non Turbo plug (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-21-50-cu-in-1)

Now, i just received the GO Engines Turbo Head for .25 so i will try it soon.

I dont think its anything special to advice you about the .25, just give it a good break inn and enjoy it. Right now my .25 its on 2 gallon mark, prior engine i opened after 6 1/4 gallons, replaced full internals and started using it again

Try GO 2072 pipe on .25, you will love it ...

cya !!

Get yourself a GO2072 pipe as the JP one will suck both on fuel economy as well as powerband vs the GO. Also the GO 0801 FEMCA pipe is better than the JP one. Put in the additional shim for break-in and pre-heat it during the process. Also be aware that it takes atleast 1/2 gallon before the engine is fully broken in. If you olan on racing with it change the rod after 1gallon and you should be good to go to for a long time.

another +1 on the 2072 pipe here for the .25 6port. I'm not a fan of the 2072 pipe for .21 motors but on the .25, its perfect. I didn't worry about the extra shim for break in, just run it in nice and your giggling. I put a 14T bell on my losi when I had the .25 as it has so so much torque down low and the 14T made it scream in the top end and made for mind boggling top speed. Where I only dropped a couple of teeth on the spur when running a .21. Have fun with that, also found the turbo head button allowed it to rev a bit better up top.

Keen to hear your comments - cheers

I keep seeing this 2072 pipe mentioned, would this work well on my Go .28 3 port? I can pick one up for £47, which seems reasonable, but is about £15 more than the jammin pipes. I've only heard good things about the JP pipes, would the 2072 be more suitable?

Also, I've just got my new clutch (first new clutch, and I'm new to all this) which came with 3 sets of springs, black, yellow and silver. Which would be best in my truggy? It's not going to be used for racing, but just some general driving (field, car park, bumb and jumps etc)

Thanks

James

JP pipes are good they are a little heavier on fuel in my testing but the 2072 pipe IMO has a good balance of bottem mid and top end power...

i used to use the jp4 on my 7 port still had good run time i was getting close to the 10 min mark with it

I actually like the JP4 a little better on my 7 port in buggy. Nothing beats the 2072 on the 5 and 3 port though.

Hi James - I can't comment on the 2072 with the .28, but it should be as good if not better then the Jammin pipe, as the 2072 is made for the GO range of engines in particular.
If you are running the new GX series motors, the 2072 is a must We have tested all three motors in the new range now, and the 2072 pipe provides fantastic performance on all three (as well as the MG66).

With your clutch shoes generally the golden coloured springs are .9 mm (soft), the silver ones 1.0 mm (med), and the black ones 1.1 mm (hard).
For the use you describe the silver 1.0 mm springs should be fine. If you find the truggy a bit sluggish or boggy off the mark, change up to the siffer black 1.1 mm springs for a later engagement and more aggressive take off.
For general use go for carbon shoes, as they wil do the job and are much cheaper than alloy ones. If you start racing alloy shoes will be better.
