i have a moded 3 port in my buggy and it does not lack any power or performance at all ....

if you get one you wont be disapointed im getting around 11-12 mins run time out of mine out track is tech and has some large jumps out of the corner eg triples and have no worries clearing that at all

you should also do a pinch test see how rich or lean your carby settings are on lsp needle.and screw your hsp needle out flush again start your tuning again...

i assume that you have the new long lsp needle and most of your tuning will be done on this lsp needle

HiVoltg12 Where is Mark?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Has anyone heard from Mark at MassiveMods?

I ordered the new 2072 pipe on 5/30. Mark communicated to me on 6/3 that he was expecting the pipe to be in by 6/5 and it should be shipped on 6/8. Since then I have sent him two emails and a PM on rctech with no reply. My order is still showing as "processing" on MassiveMods.com. My paypal has already been billed so we're not waiting on them.

So has anyone heard from Mark? Just wondering if he is out of town or something? All the feedback on rctech has been positive regarding MassiveMods so I have to wonder if something is up?
I had an email in my inbox this morning....it shipped on Monday! I figured something was up! Thanks MassiveMods!

Default exact Rear Bearing Size 217PT

Hey Guys,

I'd like to give my Gen5 217PT a complete overhaul and as part of that procedure I'd like to install new bearings - TKO ceramic or Boca.
Can anyone tell me the exact size of the main bearing, please?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
T

Rear bearing is 14 x 25.4 x 6mm

Front bearing is 7 x 19 x 6mm

Same as OS VSpec, RB, Novarossi. So any bearings you find for those models will do the job. A-Main has the TKO's at a reasonable price.

If your going all out, throw a new Gen 5.5 crank and TiNi coated wrist pin in as well. Ha, I love spending other peoples money

Thumbs up

Guys,

thank you A LOT!

I know Massive Mods have great prices, specially engines incl. worldwide shipping, but since I live in Germany, I'm a little concerned about shipping costs AUS to GER compared to the price of the bearing itself. I guess I have to ask some friends, so we can order at least some more bearings...

Regards,
T
