As you know the 5 port only has 2 pipe recommendations 0801-086, I love the 086 on mine tried a JP-3 hated it. Just try what you want if you like it thats all that matters. I havent seen or heard of any other pipes working well on it though.

Wow...$47.00. The price of the pipes has gone up. I bought my Dynamite Platinum pipes new for $39.00 each last May.

I had heard that the OS 2060 is also another good pipe for the Got Tech 5 port, if your budget isn't an issue.

The 007 will work ok. But like everyone else has said, it's not the right pipe for any of the Go motors. You may think it goes great, but for the sake of $47 you are not getting anywhere near the performance you could out of the 5 port when fitted with the 0801 or 086. So if your performance is a little flat, don't go blaming the motor :(

exactly, you said it bro, you don't need any more power, with the 007 you're giving it even more grunt power which you don't need, but hell, if you like how it runs, then just keep running it.

Ed at Eb recommends the 9886 for his modded motors.

hey guys what about the 3port race engine? what pipe then? 007, 053, or 086. if you cant tell i would like to keep things under 50 so im looking at the offerings from dynamite. thanks!

zJatoRad 03-06-2009 06:16 PM

The Dynamite 086 for either the 5 or 3 port.

cjm1126 03-06-2009 07:36 PM

the 3 and 5 port have good bottom end, so the 86 is the best choice it will help the engine on top end

Tree where did you get yours at for $39? For that i will get another. I am probably going to need a 053 soon.

I've decided I'm going to spend the extra dosh and get the GO 0801 for my new 5-port. I would imagine the Go engineers know best what works with their exhausts.

I bought both of my Dynamite Platinum pipes for $39.99 each from Blue Grass Hobbies. I am not sure if they still sell them for that price though.

$41.99...still not bad for a new, hard coated Dynamite Platinum pipe

Good lad !!!! ;) You won't be disapointed. The 0801 for 5 or 3 Port is money well spent
