pwnzor, the 2041 is not the best pipe for the Go engines, i would reccomend the 086. but the best pipe out right now is the Go femca 801.
1+ on 0801 pipe |

I got my EB Mods Race 30% fuel already, so when the mill comes, gonna be some serious braappppin bout' to happen:lol::lol::lol: I wanna make sure I get the right pipe to keep it smooth and easy to drive so is the 2041 the right choice, I have an 086 as well I could use, Is Ed going to make a specific pipeset for this mill in the future? Also what plugs have you found to be best for the EBm5 Joe? cheers!! TW

Hey guys, I currently have a Go .21 7 port and the Stock Hyper 8.5 Pipe. Im looking at getting a new pipe for my birthday, what pipe do you guys recommend. My home track Is Clanfield in the Uk.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dtNbC6ldIM
That video is old, but shows roughly what the track is like changed a few parts.. and less grass now as its been winter. So yea I was wondering what pipe you recomend.. For a bit of everything.. a Allround pipe if possible? cheers |

I just purchased the go .21 3 port sport engine. I'm newer to nitro so want to stick to basic spec type 3 port motors for now. Do they stay tuned pretty well? Also when I crank it for the first time, will the needle settings be fairly close?I have an rd logics .21 that is running really well and have finished well with it cause I can control it and everyone else is way over powered. I also have a sportwerks .26 that the settings were not even close. Just wondering how close the factory settings were at initial break in. Thanks for all your help

The track in the video IMO would suit the GO 0801 pipe as it looks fairly tight and twisty. A more open / longer track would most likely suit the GO 2047 better as it is a mid to top end pipe. If you can wrangle two pipes for your birthday :sneaky: Then get both the 2047 and the 0801. Put the longer 0801 header on the 2047 pipe and you will have the perfect pipe for the 7 Port on any track. The longer header brings up the bottom end a little and with the 2047 pipe attached it produces a lovely smooth power band on the 7 Port from start to finish. Hope this answers your questions :) |

They are usually pretty close. I am not sure on the aluminum sport carb what exact settings are. If it is similar to the plastic carb it should be flush on the high speed and 1.5 turns in from flush on the low speed. Rex |

The Dynamite 053 was/is a good all-round pipe for the 7 Port.

Retro RC, are you using that combo on a 5 or 7 port, what run times are you getting? how does the powerband feel?
Hey zato, thats my combo for the 7port turbo, the power band is smooth throughout the range but using the longer header brings the bottom end of the 7 out. I'm getting around 9.5 to 11 mins a tank depending on tne track suface and how hard I push the buggy, using a 7mm restricter and 25% nitro. I'm still testing on the 5 port to find my ideal setup but so far the 0801 with a medium to short header ( depending on the track) is where I'm heading so far, as the long header on the 0801 in a buggy can be just a little too much on the bottom end but awesome in a truggy. no sir, I don't.
Long story short I've been without power for almost a week now. I've taken some work home to try and stay moving but it's very limited as to what can be done. |
