Hey guys just been doing some looking around and i see that alot of guys are runing the go .21 3 port and the 7 port what is the power difference and who carrys this engine as well as which one is best for mid size tracks.:confused: :tire::tire:==:tire::tire:
"Any of the stock Go Pro motors 3, 5, or 7 port will suit buggy, it all depends on the track type you run. 5 Port has massive bottom end and good top 7 Port has good bottom end and massive top 3 Port is nippy throughout the range I have a soft spot for the 7 Port in a buggy. It suits most tracks pretty good in stock form. Run it with 2047 pipe for longer open track or 0801 pipe for a shorter and tighter track. If you want a budget pipe that works well in most conditions on the 7 port, go for the Dynamite 053." In addition to this, the 3 Port works well with the 0801 or Dynamite 086. The 5 Port with 0801 or Dynamite 086 also. The 0801 pipe gives better economy in general (and is a sweet performer). If you run the 7 mm restrictor (or 6.5) and drive smooth you should get 10 mins or very close to it out of any of the 3 Pro series motors. As far as where to get these motors - you don't say where you are in "the world" so I will take a stab in the dark and assume you are in the USA. There are a couple of GO dealers on this forum. Contact Rocket42 or Brain at Pro Twister Mods. If you are Southern hemisphere, contact Mark at Massive Mods in Australia. |

I would say 7 port in buggy and 5 port in truggy.
I would get a motor from one of the guys on this forum. They both offer great after sales service, and are very knowledgeable regarding the GO products. Try a PM to Rex "22 Racer" or Brian "Mugen46" and keep it in house :) |
