Hmmm, it sounds as though it would certainly be worth waiting for the Gen 6 8 port for my MP9 :D due here in a couple weeks.

If I cant wait, I'm sure the Gen 5 7 port with 0801 pipe combo listed on MM site would do the job nicely.

Now a question for Mark from MM, should i run my GO .21 on HB444 ( i currently run my Truggy and MT engine on HB444) or should I go with AMAIN. I think for convenience HB444 would be easiest.

Cheers

hey Alan,

the go engine pictured is one of the earlier versions gen1 through gen3 as visually the cooling head and carbs have changed as well as the detailing on the crankcase

here is a pic of the latest gen5 engine

The Go 5 port last twice as long as a v-spec and be compareable in power.

hey guys i have a go .21 5 port with a 086 pipe. 14t clutch bell and 1.1 springs. that is too punchy at the bottom. how would you guys tame this.i was thinking 1.0 springs or softer or maybe 15t or 16t clutch bell.iam just a newbie and would like to hear your opinions before i start spending money.
thanks.

1.0 springs, I wouldn't go up in clutchbell, what kind of car? If the 1.0's are too much try some .9's.

That pipe looks very much like a mid range 053 pipe, which is ideal for the 7 port.
If you are running a 5 Port and want the best out of it, get a GO FEMCA 0801 or Dynamite 086 pipe. You will like the results.

You can run them on either the HB 444 or the A MAin .. its a matter of choice , if you want a fuel with a castor component then the HB is the way to go , or if you want a bit more poke run the A MAin which is all synthetic.

OS .28 Engine

Hello Guys,

Thanks for all the tips, and yes, I know OS parts are expensive than GO :) Anyways, i'm set now to get the GO 25 6port for my CEN Truggy. In the other CEN Matrix TR thread, they are using GO 25 6ports on their truggy and having no problems. I can attest to GO engine, as i have a GO 21 7 port on my Inferno Buggy and with already 4 gallons and I have not change anything in it still. :) I'll probably need to change conrod immediately. My only problem no w is acquiring the GO 25 6port as there's no local hobby shop selling GO 25 6 port.

Many thanks,
Jojo

only his modded engines.

try Russel (rocket42)at race factor industries for a list of us dealers and he'll let you know of their avaliablity.

Also looks like GO are starting to producing quite a few engines for other companies this sure looks like a GO in discise
