That's what I was wondering, who sells them for $175? That picture is an older version, it doesn't have the new logo on the head. Also be sure it's a Us version if you live in the Us. it will not be warrantied otherwise.

What is the new logo on the motor look like?It is a us version.I spoke to the place where they have them and he told me it had the updated carb on it,Would that make it the latest gen? What is the newest gen on the 5 port anyway?I asked(previous post) if it was a the newest generation and some one said it was.
Thanks
Thanks
heres some pics of the gen5 5port, ingnore the close up pic of the carb as it's showing the earlier carb as the all black carb on the main pic is the new model
the crank case no longer has B21 on the side it has R21 and the word go on the other side has been replaced with the new Go logo

The difference on the Gen 5 motors is the block and head have different logo's and markings on them. The block has more flywheel clearance, the carb is all black on the hsn side, some early gen 5's came with long lsn, the newest ones are short. The biggest difference is the crank, the crank weight is more like a v-spec and is a little heavier on the gen 5. Running the old vs. new the new gen 5 is smoother and makes it better in a buggy.

i took out 2 shims off the head and installed a nova rossi/rb carb on my 3 port race and it is ballistic. temps went up a bit, finally, i couldn't get it over 220 before it lean bogged, run times are still crazy, about 10 minutes with 125cc in a truggy! very impressed with this motor so far, keeps up with anything out there. i want to try a 5 port next but have heard of longevity issues, crank and conrod, has this been resolved?

does any Go dealer here have a .21 Rod in stock? for some reason the bushing in the rod went out after just 3/4 of a gallon.
would this be under warranty or it's normal? I know in the first piston/sleeve/rod set I had lasted over 5 gallons and the rod was still good.
