I have the 5 port. I just noticed something else when i was browsing for bearings, it says 6mm for the front bearing on the parts list and on A-main, but i measured my crank and its 7mm ?? I also noticed that on the pictures it looks like there is a seal on both sides of the bearings, but on the ones in my engine there is only one on one side on the front bearing and none on the rear ? is that just something to protect them ?

The 6 MM measurement is for the thickness of the bearing not the inner Diameter. And yes its common they come with 2 seals , just pick the inner one off so that you have one seal on the outside .

Cheers MM

I have a question. Now that its starting to get cold.I have been fouling or burning my plugs. When I run during the day when the temps are warmer I don`t have this problem, but as the night carries on I end up having to change my plug. The engine doesn`t flame out,it will go the whole race, but when its time to fire it up for the next race my plug is dead. What am I doing wrong.I`m running a Go 5port with a os 2060 and byrons 30%.There is only 1 1/2 gallons on the engine.I am also running a OS #8.I have always ran this plug in every engine I have owend and haven`t had a problem. Some of the guys at the track think I`m running my LSN a little lean, but then again during warmer time of the day I don`t foul plugs

Any thoughts and suggestions will be much appreciated

When the temps start to drop for the day the air/fuel mixture does start to lean out. The air is more dense when the air is cooler. Therefore more O2 per parts fuel. Just richen the needles slightly (few hours) till you find the sweet spot. Gotta do the same thing here. Temps will fluctuate by 10-15 degrees on normal days. From sun high to ten o'clock at night.

Where can I buy just the piston and sleeve for the 5 port. I don't need a piston/sleeve/rod as sold by Carolina's rc. I have a new rod.

Satoch, the piston and sleeve only is no longer available in the U.S., it was my call to only sell the piston sleeve and rod assemblies, its much cheaper to buy it as a kit then just the piston and sleeve assembly and plus it is always a good thing to have a fresh rod and wrist pin assembly to throw in your engine every 3-4 gallons as reccomended.

If I get requests to bring back the Piston and Sleeve assembly only, I will do so.

The 3port engine is very good, I would say its the new O.S. rg, It is a sport engine so it doesn't use the highest quality materials like the race engines, but still makes a great backup or practice engine I wouldn't have any problems racing it again either. Plus the turbo head button fits it fine which really helps with the performance.
