So far we got a good F1, stock and scale spec turnouts. Should be a good day. We don't start racing till 3 so pack up and head up. Plenty of time to get here!

Had a good practice yesterday, was good to knock off the rust and see some RC buds i hadnt seen in a while. I got my workout chasing a new novice around, my girlfirends son wanted to try his hand at rc, he is 6, and he is hooked. on the way home he asked to go again tomorrow lol. He wants a red car, #17, and wants it now lol. I think hes gonna give novice at the Gym a try.

I am thinking of getting a car for stock touring i was thinking of either the spec-r r1 pro spec chassis or the hobao he4. I am trying to stay under $300 for the chassis. i have the electronics does anyone have an opinion on these cars or any other cars to look at before i pull the trigger

Decided to race at NORA this past weekend and I'm glad I did.
The track:
There is now plenty of traction thanks to upgraded carpet. It is now up to hangar 30 traction levels. Barriers and dimensions are very similar to H30 gym too.
Location:
Some may think Mt Vernon is in the middle of no where ... Well ... The distance is very similar to the drive from Seattle to Tacoma. It's roughly 1 hour from the Canadian border. NORA is a lot closer than you think.
Schedule:
The doors open at 10am but you really don't need to show till 2pm. It allows you the choice of getting personal/family stuff done before racing or getting 4 hours of practice in.

It's race day up at Nora. Come up and get some practice and racing. Track will be set up by 10 and ready for anyone who would like to get some practice in. Racing starts at 3. Yes, that's 5 plus hours of PRACTICE! Time to turn some laps and turn some wrenches. Time to test and tune those ideas you have floating around but don't want to try during qualifiers at other tracks!
We have had solid F1, Stock touring and scale spec classes so far. Let's see some 12th scales out today!
