Sweet baby Jesus, looks like we got us a kick-ass racetrack about to open! That looks awesome - thanks to all of you guys for dedicating your free time for the greater good of the club. I forsee some track features being named....perhaps the Mason Straight, Danilchik Curves and others. Just sayin'. Also, I call dibs on naming rights for the Bradshaw port-o-can.

Mark,
Yes, the track is in a public park but governed by the Seattle RC Racers club, so we can use it as long as we keep everything clean and only electric cars. We have our first club race scheduled for 7/9/2016, so the track should be in great shape. Just need two items, one being a car battery to charge lipo and a leaf blower. I'll help you out on both. No city provided electricity until next year.

How about "SeaTrac" for shorthand?
A little easier on the tongue, eh?

It's still very hit and miss right now, the team are going down there whenever time allows, so my advice would be prepared for anything. You might have an open track, you might also have a group of guys down there working. It'll be done shortly, but for now the schedule needs to stay fluid so the work can be finished in time for the first race.

I'm planning on painting either Friday or Saturday. My intention is to get it all done in a single day push so that it can cure overnight and be ready the next day. The track will be closed all day that I'm painting.
To Kyle's point, right now it's either Friday or Saturday, I haven't dialed it all the way in. I'm in a lunatic stretch of home and work mayhem, which is no particular thing for anyone but me, but I just can't give you the day, today.
