So this morning, after F1 qualifying wrapped up, Stuart shakes my shoulder and says, "Dad, Dad, DAD! I bet it's not even raining at Seatac, let's go attack those blackberries and sticker bushes that have been irritating me!"
After I moaned and groaned and pretended to have a cold and a splinter, I caved in, but only four bags! And after that, Taco Time. So, Stuart shook his head in disappointment but grudgingly agreed, calling me a pansy, and aren't I lucky to get to race at all, and yadda yadda.
So, thank Stuart for the blackberries and that big-ass sticker bush being gone. And he was right, it wasn't even raining

many thanks to both of you. I do think for the sake of Stuart's racing career you should have him drive you there, and I believe in a vehicle more befitting of that career, the racing yellow one... Happy Fathers Day :-)

Hey, it's Ian from Bremerton. I was eyeballing my on road stuff and see that sea tac is close to a go. I haven't raced in awhile, last time I ran 21.5 SS and 17.5 sedan. Last time I checked 21.5 is sooo 2014. 25.5 now? Is there a place to find the rules you will be using? I probably only have parts to make one car go but may try to field both of the crapwagons I campaigned last time. I scrolled through 5 or so pages...Todd and Stuart Mason make this happen, thanks guys.

I dont know why FWR had to go i miss it i guess alittle setup and teardown could get annoying but IMO not enough to ruin a good thing for everyone. The thing I am going to enjoy about seatac is the endless free practice.

The racing side of it had nothing to do with the business except for the fact that the FW owner was done and owned the bus. So when the business closed...... It was on its last legs and more than likely wouldn't be able to compete with a pretty much permanent track... IMHO.

Hey Ryan,
No paint on the berms. It's red and white thermoplastic strips as used on roads and sidewalks. It's low profile, but where the strips overlap they create a rumble strip effect. Driving over the berms is not the fast way around the track, but it doesn't break a car, either.
Us Tamiya drivers love our C-hubs!
Once the berms are in, we'll paint the infield islands with green court paint. We will add white striping around the islands--not around the berms--and the track's outboard perimeter.

Franko, RC Hammer, and Todd also put in a number of hours.
