Just a quickie before I hit it for the night. Perry took TQ in the last round of rubber stock. I think that stock rubber had 3 different tq's in 4 rounds... very good stuff. Think Korey had 19t foam. I am gonna guess Trav has mod touring by a thin margin. I think that Darren and Korey are right there. I have 19t 12th. Doug from SIR has really stepped up to run the show. He's doing great. There was some equipment problems initially, but everything is going well after the fact. The track is building grip every round. Those that are anticipating correctly, are doing well. Some are scratching their heads. They softened that 90 corner off the straight with a 45/45 sweeper arangement that everyone was happy to see. We'll be right back in the morning to wrap up the 3A's.

Swing by!

Track is awesome, the paragon groove is amazing. This is my first paragon race and I got to tell you I'm not really interested now in any other carpet race without it. Tires have WAY more grip but at the same time much less wear.

We did have a late start this morning due to some technical issues. We arrived this morning with no sign-ups, no loop, and no printer. Once all of that was resolved Doug ran a great program as usual staying on schedule the whole day.

I'm glad to see we had a much better turn out this year then last year's series race. I'm sure the carpet helped, but this really is a quality track, people who didn't show this year really missed out.

Yup, I was going to correct Fred. Micro missed the last qual and Korey layed it down. It will be fun watching Korey, Travis, and Darren duke it out tomorrow.

i would like to personally apologize for mike phillips incompetence when it came to the race this weekend. there is really no excuse for not showing up on time to open the track for everyone (of course he has problems showing up on time for 11am opening on weekdays ) . if i hadnt had prior plans not allowing me to be there, maybe i could have helped out. but myself, garrett, and jenkins (not empoylees of peel-it raceway mind you) did setup the track in one night becuase the peel-it employees were busy tuning and wrenching on their off-road gas cars for whatever reason, in the days leading up to the NWICS race

the printer was supposed to be bought the night before, the entries should have been ready for when doug got there, the timing bridge was supposed to be done the night before... not too much to ask really...

all anyone wanted was for him to just do his job, but i guess if its not offroad, and its not gas, then he doesnt care

i would also really like to thank doug from SIR for stepping in and doing the job, without him there wouldnt have been a race!

hope everyone liked the track and had a good time!

Track was great, Paragon is awesome but, still stinks and was getting gummy on foams. And so what if we waited and hour and a half to get started, what else were we gonna do. we had all set aside our days committed to racing. That is what we did. Everyone I believe had a good time and the race went smooth. It was also a bonus that we got our four quals in on saturday. That made today go a little bit faster so the out of towners could get on to the road asap. Thank to all at Brood for making the race possible and Peel it for providing the facility.

Thanks to Eddie, Peter, Garrett, and Jenkins for getting the track ready. HUGE thanks to Doug for taking the weekend off from running his track to come up and run this race. It really did make all the difference.

As always I had a blast dicing it up with Tom, Anders, Adam, and Brian. Good racing guys!

The carpet was amazing, oh I'm already going through Paragon withdrawls!
