honestly it was only that one day that the oil had any affect on the track, and the track was cold at the same time and oil just sprayed. by the end of that night the track was nice traction.. and was good->great traction at different points in the weeks since.

Ah, that does look pretty cool. I think there was an old layout that looked similar to that. Right now I'm involved in the Friday point series at the Barn. But maybe I can try to sneak a Wednesday in sometime in December and come up and race with you guys.
