I also have an Evo 3 and just purchased another. I think that they are well worth the money. More power than you know what to do with.

I think the price tag is wide apart in favor to the TZ and im not sure that the evo 3 has to much more power then the TZ i would say the O.S TZ as its cheap and has a fair bit of power enough to keep up about 1.6 HP when rest of the moster engines have about the same. Also O.S engines are buit on reliability.
But Sirio evo 3 are so FAST
what about RB logics i heard they are fairly good.

Well with the Sirio i was able to come onto our straight 1 car length behind a NSR12S3 and be past it no problem on the 45 metre straight our track has. The price difference is well worth it. Oh by the way that was on 5% nitro and after i switched to 15% nitro the beast was unleashed! Thats all i am goingto say

So the evo 3 is definitly worth the money then. How easy is it to tune and wats the realiability like. How does it compare to say the os tz, the JP 12s and other top of the line engines?

THANKYOU?

Imagine if you start using 20% or 30%

Funny you say that here in Aussie we run alongside the IFMAR rules so 16% is it. But i was accused of cheating by a person who is no longer part of our club, he said i had to be using 30% cause there was no way it was that fast on 15%. But i raised the challenge to swap fuel with anyone who thought the same and funny thing no takers!!!!!

As far as ease of tuning they are brilliant and reliability, well i havent had any issues so far and there have been a couple of times where i have revved it quite hard accidently. However i did hear of some of the first run Evo3's had crank problems but as far as i know they revised the crank and its all good now!

Great, i just give mine a qick bump and away it goes, but it does depend on the tune like every other engine.

yes reliability is also good.i always tune it on the rich side and then if i need to i start leaning it off less than 1/8th of a turn at a time .even on the rich side it fires up first time every time

Sirio dont have a horse power rating on there engines there alot like RB in that sense. If you go to there site you will see that they rate them in a kind of bar graph. You will love this engine if you get one. Are yoy going to the Pre-Worlds chaps?
