i know i have had problems getting steering into the car of late, and the 3mm shorter rear wheel base has made that a thing of the past, so there is something in it. i wouldnt mind trying a std rear and a shorter front wheel base just to see the changes. im guessing it will give me a little more rear grip and then be chasing steering again. so there are valid points to ZOOMs statement.
I have tried the wheelbase adjustment on several different brands of cars and I find that it tightens the minimum turning radius the car is capable of and also since there is a higher % of weight on the rear there is more forward and side bite which can make the car push a bit, in which case shortening the front will balance it out but that also increases ackerman and decreases caster, so shortening the front might be counterproductive. So basically shorten the rear when there are tight radius turns and/or lower grip. I ran this way on the past two MWS parking lot tracks.

The G4+ and all the parts have arrived in Australia - Contact your LHS to get them to contact HEI international to secure one for yourself. The team at HEI have also got all the parts to upgrade any part of your G4S to G4+ spec as well.

Pricing is very competitive compared to getting them in from overseas as well!! Ari has posted a couple of pictures to get the taste buds watering

G4+ is on the ground in Aus - I see my guy in Western Australia has them for a pretty competitive price as well. Check it out at www.rcgear.com.au.

No offence, but this site offered me no real interest because of the following:

no wide parts list for g4S, like Raceday Hobbies or RC Mart & RC Mushroom....!

keep in mind, so if there is a G4+ there, still need to back it up with a wide variety parts area to attract the new shopper or even yet the local shopper!

As i have mentioned before, i shop overseas because, we have tried to support local hobby shops, but in time they are either slack, say they cant get or just not interested in making money!

No wonder why the internet market does so well, its either a massive warehouse, or a dedicated supporter of the product!!!!

Anyways i hope it updates in time, thou its great to see the G4+ land in AUS, funny enough i have a cross breed now LOL

Default G4+

rear stebil is not released..

so i used v-one RRR rear stebil..

But V-one RRR rear stebil shaft's diameter is 2.2mm

G4+'s one is 2.5mm

rear bulk bracket was changed. so i mod it (cut off)

clutch shoe is some big and material was changed....

clearance could not be setup.(clearance 0mm)

so i put 3X5mm shim in clutch to make clearance.

(maybe new long bellguide washer wanted.. but it is not imported)

2nd spur gear and housing come little smaller than G4S.

2nd shoe size is not changed.. but shoe material was changed (my quess)

front wheel base can be reduced until 2mm.

rear wheel base can be reduced until 2.5mm.

front upper arm was shorten by 2mm to fit caster.
