Default gearing

hi what's the best gearing to start with on the TM, cos the stock gearing seems not good, I am using an STS D3R engine on it?

Thanks

If you have the stock gearing I would try and get the new ED transmission system.
The car accelerates alot better and is faster too.

Are you racing on a small track?

The new uprights comming out (on the G4+) do not have the inserts. They are made for stock axles (or universals)

Thats incorrect Menace.
From what i have picked up it looks like the G4+ will have the quick release system as std and will also have the inserts if wanting to use std universals.
You can also change the bearings to suite with out using the inserts.
In the G4+ thread ive posted the contents of the G4+ kit.
The + has a lot of new parts and includes 1100mah rx pack too.

Bud id suggest getting a 18t 1st gear pinion and 52 spur to start with.
After which id suggest the harder clutch spring or adding a bit more tension to get engine winding up when clutch engages.
Clutch is the key to performance out of corners.
Try that first.

Just wondering how many of you are using the stock brake pulley? My aluminum one is now dead ( the pins keep popping out ) and i can't remember why i changed it - bling factor, problem with stock pulley, ??? I have a race on the 9th so i still have time to order from raceday.

Anyone having problems with the stock brake pulley?

Default rear bound problem in high traction.

i had trouble rear bound problem in cornering at high traction in FEMCA 2007.

especially.. it was appeared in rapid cornering. (end of backstraight in front of pilot seat)

sadikin(NT1 Indonnesia Driver who had 3rd position in FEMCA 2007)

said that front diff system had a rear bound problem in JITC...

so he changed front diff to oneway system, then solved that problem.

i heard sadikin's that talk after FEMCA 2007 end.

But i could not understand why front diff had rear bound problem in JITC (especially high traction)

do you know the reason?
